The 2-Step Highlight

Oh hey Kim K! Just chilling on the VOGUE Australia front cover, no biggie. KK has definitely inspired this week's post. I mean, she is pretty much the reigning queen of highlighting and contouring. So, if you've had a few too many dark under-eye moments recently, this simple 2-step can 'lighten up your life'. Let's get with the glowgram, people.

Conceal don't feel: Grab a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your foundation or natural skin-tone. Sounds a bit odd, but this is one of the oldest tricks in makeup 101. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is still impressing me, enough to send me back into Mecca Cosmetica soon to pick up a new one. I'm running dangerously low here. Basically, you want to apply this concealer in a deep 'V' motion underneath your eyes....and then blend, blend, blend! You'll instantly look awakened and just slightly more alive.

Glow already: When Benefit's High Beam is in use, the radiance really starts happening. Dab this liquid illuminator a few times along your cheekbones and use your fingers to blend it in. It's got a pearlescent sheen that will make you look like a VS model, and it's a no-brush-necessary product to apply. Fabulous.

Happy highlighting!
