Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette | The Unboxing

*Cue angels please* because this new addition to my trove of makeup is seriously stunning. Whit-woo. I've been meaning to get my hands on the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette for quite some time, and am reasonably late on the bandwagon of this pinky-purply-coppery extravaganza of eyeshadows. My battered Naked 1 palette is a good indication of what this is going to end up looking like in no time at all, because these shades are already becoming my go-to for any eye look, day or night.

The Naked 1 Palette is for the bronzed babes, the 2nd is a cool-toned counterpart and the 3rd is all about the pinky hues. Pink sounds absolutely awful to be putting anywhere near your eyes. You'd think things would end up resembling an eye infection, or as if you've unleashed your inner four-year-old self, raided your mum's makeup stash and gone straight for pink everything, everywhere. But, these shimmery, rosy tones are honestly everyday material. There is a great range of mattes and shimmers, and Urban Decay have definitely covered all bases with this one. For blue-eyed gals, these will be especially flattering, but tbh it would look lovely on anyone.

The standout shades so far would have to be....ALL OF THEM. Honestly, I'm yet to find a colour combo that disappoints. Obviously, for daytime wear, you'd probably be best to stick to the first half of the palette, and to transition into night, move towards those smoky shades. Things are also made very convenient as this palette comes with its own double-sided shading/blending brush. Parfait.

As this was only a first-impressions-esque approach to the Naked 3 Palette, you can expect to see a lot more about it on the EITM stage very soon. Tutorials, anyone? I think yes.

Until next time...
